In our course, there is a great emphasis on safety.
This involves the correct use of the ATV.
HSE regulations are used as a basis, so that the training satisfies the authorities and the Norwegian Labor Inspection Authority’s requirements for safe training.
We start with a review of the four-wheelers, service and maintenance. Furthermore, we will review laws and regulations regarding the use of ATVs and UTVs. Here, the law on motor traffic in rural areas will be thoroughly reviewed.
Practical driving
Practical driving will include elements such as driving position and balance training. In terrain, route selection is very important for safe driving. Driving with load and securing will be reviewed. In the practical driving, emphasis will be placed on the participant’s daily needs.
We use the latest ATV models
- The courses are held in Eidsberg, but can also be held outside at the companies if the training area and number of participants are satisfactory.
- The courses are conducted according to HSE requirements.
- Successful completion of the course leads to a certificate of competence.

The aim and purpose of the course is to increase your level of knowledge and gain better experience with safe use, daily control and maintenance, as well as disposal rules for various types of scaffolding, ladders and work platforms as well as fall protection equipment.
The employer is obliged to provide such training in terms of the Working Environment Act and associated regulations.
After completing the course, you must be aware of the dangers that may arise during your working day, and how you best handle these so that you can create the conditions for a safe workplace.

For those who work in professions where the use of truck cranes occurs, there is a requirement to complete safety training, where you learn how to use machines and equipment in the best possible way to ensure a safe working environment.
Dato Opplæring AS provides courses in truck crane G8, where you get thorough training and practice from our instructor.
The purpose of the course
The purpose of the training is to give future G8 truck crane operators a good theoretical basic training in the safe use of truck cranes.
The training should give students a good insight into the principles for using lifting equipment G11 and G8, the construction, operation, stability, maintenance and use of the truck crane, so that mishaps and accidents in connection with lifting operations are avoided.
Implementation
All our truck crane courses are adapted to your work tasks. Precisely to make the course as relevant as possible for you as a course participant. It is important to us that you feel safe and secure in your work.
After passing the final theoretical exam and practical training, a certificate of competence is issued.

Name Machine operator

Machine operator courses should give course participants increased competence in the use of mass transfer machines. It is also important for us to create conscious attitudes towards the dangers that may arise during a working day. Our courses ensure the safe and secure use of heavier machines and prevent serious accidents.
The course is conducted as a classroom course or an online course (the online course is only offered for the theoretical modules).
Course modules 1 and 2.1 are the theoretical modules. With us, you can take all required modules together, i.e. a complete course. Modules 3.1 and 4.1 are practical training at our training area, and must be completed in order to sit for the final machine operator test.
Modules 1, 2 and 3 must be completed in the same training company. Completed module 1 is normally valid for three years. Volume training (module 4) can be carried out in a company or with us. The training ends with driving, which can be carried out at the training company.

It is the employer's responsibility that all personnel who work with personal lifts must have documented qualifications and training. See 2011-12-06 no 1357: Regulations on the execution of work, use of work equipment and associated technical requirements.
The purpose is to increase safety training when using personal lifts, and to help reduce the risk of working with lifts so that the employee does not expose himself or others to unnecessary dangers.
The course has a preventive effect on accidents, and creates a safer working environment with conscious attitudes. On the lift course, we review the legal basis and safety theory regarding the training, use, control and maintenance of personal lifts.
We also have a practical review of the construction, use and control of personal lifts.
The aim of the course
Increased knowledge and a better attitude towards safety when using personal lifts, as well as documenting the safety training in accordance with requirements in the regulations.

Telescopic truck course C1 – Telescopic truck with a capacity of up to 10 tonnes. C2 - Rotating telescopic forklift up to 10 tonnes A telescopic forklift differs from a normal forklift in that it has a telescopic boom with a reach of more than two meters and can lift up to ten tonnes.
In order to be able to handle a telescopic forklift in a responsible and safe manner, a driver’s license for a telescopic forklift is required. With us at Dato Opplæring AS, you will find telescopic forklift courses C1 and C2. As a course participant, you will receive training that is relevant to your work tasks. Our course leader has many years of experience from industries where telescopic forklifts are fantastic work tools.
Prerequisites
Passed certified training on: truck, crane or machine
Requirements for you as a course participant
To be able to take the telescopic forklift courses C1 and C2, you must be 18 years old. You must also have a forklift driver’s license (either T4, mass handling machine or G8 crane). From the age of 17, you can practice under a sponsor in the company after passing certified theoretical training. 16 years in training during upper secondary school.

The construction, operation, maintenance and use of the overhead crane G4. The goal is good attitudes towards the safe use of lifting equipment
Target group
Users of lifting equipment G11 and G4 overhead cranes. Applies to all land-based, offshore or maritime businesses that use G4 overhead cranes. After passing the final theoretical exam and practical training, a certificate of competence is issued.

Dato Opplæring AS offers forklift driver courses in all classes T1-T5, where the student will get a thorough theoretical introduction to regulations, construction and safe use of the work equipment.
There are strict requirements when driving a forklift, and the Working Environment Act requires that it be documented that both theoretical and practical training has been completed. With us, you can take all the required modules together, that is, a complete course that leads to a certificate of competence for forklifts.
A good forklift driver’s course is essential for safe, efficient and economical truck driving. Our purpose as a course provider is to create safe and responsible truck drivers with good knowledge and skills.
The theory covers truck class T1-T5, practice on T1-T4 and certificates of competence T1-T2 -T3 and T4 are issued.
It is possible to expand with class T5.
After completing the course and passing the practical and theoretical exam, a certificate of competence is issued from the central register of certified training.

Our aim is to be able to arrange the teaching for each individual course participant. The training officer has a pedagogical background and experience in facilitating those who, for example, have reading and writing difficulties, or other needs.

Theory module 1.1 common part crane-truck-machine and module 2.2 special part truck are carried out online with video conference and opportunities for dialogue between instructor and participant.
Practice is done with a limited number of participants per practical part of the course.
Practice is arranged continuously after completion of the theory course.
The exam is done online electronically.
